Two Passions, One Purpose
Jamie picked up a camera in his early twenties while exploring the Scottish Highlands on foot. What started as a way to capture landscape and light became a 10-year obsession with the craft — the patience it demands, the split second between a good shot and a great one, the way light changes everything.
Golf, though, was always there first. He grew up caddying at his local course in Perthshire, played his first full round at 12, and spent the next two decades working his way through Scotland's finest links — Carnoustie, Trump International, St Andrews, Panmure. Every course a different story.
Thistle & Tee Photography grew from that moment. The idea was simple: golfers invest real money and real time in special rounds — a trip to St Andrews, a society day with old friends, a milestone birthday on a bucket-list course. Those rounds deserve to be remembered properly.
Jamie brings the same care to photographing a round as the golfer brings to playing it. Discreet enough not to break your concentration, attentive enough not to miss a thing.
